If booking a Bowen treatment it is recommended that a course of 3 treatments, one week apart, are initially booked.

Appointments can be confirmed 24 hrs in advance by text or email if required. Whilst every effort will be made to accommodate unforeseen circumstances, late arrival may limit the ability to offer the fullest treatment possible.
For the benefit of other clients, if you do not intend to keep an appointment, please give at least 24 hours notice. The full treatment fee is payable for missed appointments.
Please bring a list of medication with you to your initial appointment.
- The initial appointment will require the completion of a client assessment and may therefore be longer in duration. (This additional time is not charged.) The assessment will take into account your medical history, health and medication. It will also include a physical examination to assess, for example, degree of movement.
- Treatments take approximately 40-
60 minutes and most of the work can be performed through light clothing, although working directly onto skin is preferred - All treatments are tailored to the individual client, after consultation with the practitioner. Where appropriate work will be carried out in conjunction with your medical practitioner and other health care professionals.
- Following the Bowen treatment, advice will be provided with regard to the management
of the presenting condition and follow-
up, where appropriate. - To receive maximum benefit it is recommended that other physical therapies are not mixed with The Bowen Technique. Ensure a break of 7 to 10 days between Bowen and other physical therapy.
